How to register for the Congress

How to cancel the registration
You can cancel the registration online or by phone (please call us at +380674392191).
€50 refund is only available if you cancel the registration by May 10, 2021.
There will be no refund available in case of the late cancellation (after May 10, 2021).

Additional registration
Additional registration is only required to participate in the Masterclasses (Workshops), due to the limited number of participants.
No additional registration is required to participate in Plenary and Section Meetings.

Congress participation costs and payment

The regular Congress fee is 250.00 EUR, which must be paid in full by April 30, 2021.
The early-birds fee (50.00 EUR off) is available if the payment is received by March 31, 2021.
If you register (or pay) after May 1, 2021, or directly at the Congress, the 50.00 EUR of late registration fee will be applied, so the total amount will be 300.00 EUR.

The price includes:

  • Participation in Plenary Meetings
  • Participation in Section Meetings
  • Participation in Workshops or Masterclasses (additional registration is required)
  • Coffee breaks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): coffee, tea, water, cookies, and fruits will be full time available in the BANKHOTEL lobby.
  • Celebration with champagne and wine on Thursday, June 3, 2021 (after registration)
  • Lviv Walking Tour on Thursday, June 3, 2021 (before registration)

Additional costs

Friday, June 4, 2021:

  • Visit to the Opera House (5.00 EUR to 50.00 EUR for the ticket, payment to the organizing committee during registration). The Lviv Opera House is a slightly smaller version of the Vienna State Opera. Highly recommended. The program has not yet been set.

Saturday June 5, 2021:

  • Lviv City daily excursions ( 5.00 EUR to 10.00 EUR per tour per tour, to be paid on registration to the Organisation Committee)

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday:

  • Lunch will be available at the hosting hotel’s restaurant or at the any other city restaurant of your choice (10.00 – 20.00 EUR per day, to be paid directly at the restaurant)

The official languages of the Congress

German and Ukrainian are the official languages of the Congress. There will be translation into German, Ukrainian and Russian at the plenary sessions, section meetings and workshops.

Short history

The hotel is in the historic part of Lviv, in a renovated building of the former Austro-Hungarian Bank. The branch of the Austro-Hungarian Bank was built during the period of rapid economic development of the city, which took place in 1870 – 1914. It was designed by two architects – Edmund Zhykhovych and Michal Luzhetsky, both them are graduates of Lviv Polytechnic University.

Short history

Until 1939, the House of Scientists hosted the Noble, or National Casino. Balls, costume parties were held here, and, of course, cards were played. The house was popularly called “Gerhard’s Casino”. It was built in 1897–1898 by Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer (authors of the Odessa Opera House project).

Short history

Former building of the Galician Sejm (now the main building of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv). The Galician Sejm building project was developed by the director of the Lviv city construction department Juliusz Gochberger in 1876–1877. The Galician Sejm occupied the premises until 1914, starting from 1923 it was the location for the University named after Yana Kazimira.
